Ludi Piscatorii

La festa dei pescatori del Tevere si svolgeva nella zona oltre il fiume [Fest. 210, 213, 238], sulla riva destra sotto la supervisione del pretore urbano. I pesci che venivano pescati erano poi offerti a Vulcanus nel mese di Sextilis.

The feast of the Tiber fishermen took place in the area across the river [Fest. 210, 213, 238], on the right bank under the supervision of the city magistrates. The fish that were caught were then offered to Vulcanus during Sextilis.
